The Artistic Director, choreographer and leader of our troupe, and the laureate of the All - Ukrainian and second International ballet competition Serge Lifar is Aniko Rekhviashvili. She produces all of the companie`s performances. After study in choreography studios, Aniko graduating from Kiev Institute of Culture in 1990 from the choreography faculty. She began producing choreography for soloists of Ukrainian National Opera, for different dramatic theaters, movies and different shows.

In 1995 she began by creating the independent dance troupe - "Susiriya Aniko" (Constellation of Aniko), which later was renamed ANIKO BALLET. Aniko as a real creative personality has her own unique choreograph vision and sense. Thanks to the initiation of her creative works the decision was made in 1997 to open the contemporary classical choreography faculty in Kiev National University of Culture and Arts. Aniko has worked as the chief of this cathedral from its beginning. Dancers from all Ukrainian opera and ballet theatres are now studying at this faculty.

In December 1998 she was awarded with the honorary title of "Honored Artist of Ukraine". It is the only such case in Ukraine to date, that any Artistic Director of a private dance company was awarded in such a way.

The range of Aniko`s creative possibility is very wide: from the contemporary to the classical. Aniko Rekhviashvili was invited to produce new full-time classical ballet "Vienna`s walts" on the UKRAINIAN NATIONAL OPERA and one act ballet for leading dancers of the BOLSHOY THEATRE OF RUSSIA. "Vienna`s walts" from the premiere at December 2001 became the most popular in the repertoire of UKRAINIAN NATIONAL OPERA.
